EPISODE 15: ONE OF OUR BEST | GEORGIA GRIFFITH
Podcast
Georgia Griffith has been one of Australia's leading middle-distance runners for many years.  She first represented Australia at the 2014 world junior champs, and since then has competed in two world champs, one Commonwealth Games and one Olympic Games. With PBs of 2:00.13 over 800m and 4:04.17 over 1500m, Griffith belongs to a small group of women capable of beating the likes of Linden Hall and Jessica Hull. Fresh off her second place at the recent Australian champs 1500m, we caught up with Georgia to chat about her career to date and what is in store for the rest of 2022.   This episode is sponsored by Asics.  ASICS has launched the GEL-NIMBUS 24, a new iteration within the GEL-NIMBUS family, while also debuting the FF BLAST™Plus technology, giving runners the most impact protection yet. The new FF BLAST Plus technology is a foam-based design, making the shoe 20 grams lighter than its predecessor while providing a more energised toe-off and softer landing in every step. The GEL-NIMBUS™ 24 running shoe is available for men and women from ASICS  retail, online stores and specialist running outlets in Australia from March 16 2022 for  $240.
