Sam Ellis is an American middle-distance runner specializing in the 800m and 1500m events. He has distinguished himself at both the collegiate and professional levels with notable performances and achievements. At Princeton, he set a school record in the 1500m with a time of 3:37.60 during the NCAA semifinals in 2022 and secured a bronze medal in the 1500m final at the NCAA Outdoor Championships the same year. In 2023, Ellis signed his first professional contract with On Athletics, marking the beginning of his professional running career.
