Believe In Yourself: A Conversation With NCAA 1500m Champion Maia Ramsden | An Inside Look At Her Incredible Story
Athletes Mentioned
Today on the podcast is your 2023 NCAA Women's Champion, Maia Ramsden!
Maia runs for Harvard University where she has contributed to the storied program over the past few years. She grew up in New-Zealand where she was a multi-time national champion. On June 10, Maia won the 1500m at NCAAs in stunning fashion running a PB of 4:08.60 with a final 400m of 63.27. For many, this was a surprise, but for those who know Maia it was the culmination of years of hard work.
In addition to her success this past spring, Maia has had a storied career on the grass as well placing 11th at the National Meet last Fall and winning the Ivy League Heptagonal Championship Meet.
Today's conversation of the podcast is a very fun one! Maia and I have a fun free-flowing conversation about all things her career and the different elements that have gone into it. This conversation was both light-hearted and inspiring which are always the conversations I walk away feeling the best about. So I hope you take the time to listen and enjoy it as much as we did having it!
