Today on the podcast is Duncan Hamilton!

One of the most prolific distance runners in the history of Montana State Track and Field, Duncan Hamilton, has set standards that will stand the test of time. Hamilton, a product of Bozeman High School, owns six Montana State records – three indoors and three outdoors. He also holds the all-time Big Sky Conference record in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Last spring, he had a season to remember, which culminated in a fourth-place steeplechase finish at the USA Track and Field Championships. Last season, he was the NCAA steeplechase runner-up. This spring, Hamilton won his fourth consecutive Big Sky Conference championship steeple title. This past season, he had another runner-up finish in the steeplechase at NCAAs and made the final at USAs. Duncan also announced, leading into USAs, that he had made the decision to sign with Nike's Bowerman Track Club.

In today's episode, Duncan takes me through his first few months of professional running, his decision to sign with BTC, how he got his start in the sport, his progression through high school and college, and so much more! It was very enjoyable learning from one of the biggest up-and-coming steeple stars in the world.
