Fresh off defending her British 1500m title, Sarah Calvert joins Lucy Jones on Trackstaa to reflect on another unforgettable championship performance and the journey that led her back to the top of the podium.

Sarah opens up about a far from perfect build up to the British Championships, managing injury setbacks, rebuilding confidence and why she arrived in Birmingham feeling far less certain than she did a year ago. She talks through her race tactics, the mindset that helped her stay calm under pressure and how she produced another devastating finishing kick to become a two time British champion.

The conversation also looks ahead to the Commonwealth Games, where Sarah will represent Scotland in the mile. She shares what it means to compete in Glasgow, why it has been a dream ever since watching the Games as a teenager, and the goals she still has for the rest of the season, including chasing the European qualifying standard and racing on some of the biggest stages in the sport.
