Monmouth County — it’s time to lace up and get moving! Join the 250 for 250 Challenge, a virtual walk/run wellness adventure celebrating 250 years of the greatest nation on Earth!

Starting October 27, 2025 — exactly 250 days before America’s 250th birthday — we’re challenging YOU to walk or run 250 miles - anytime, anywhere - by July 4, 2026. That’s just one mile a day to celebrate America’s Semiquincentennial in the most energizing way possible!

Whether you hit the trails, the boardwalk, the treadmill, or your own neighborhood sidewalk — every mile counts! Get healthy, stay active, and show your American pride all at once.

You can submit your Virtual Results on the RunSignUp page anytime between October 27, 2025, through July 4, 2026.

Rules & Regulations:

1. Participants must complete all 250 miles between October 27, 2025, and July 4, 2026.
2. All mileage must be added virtually on RunSignUp.
3. Medals will be available for in-person pickup at the Office of the Monmouth County Clerk, located at 33 Mechanic Street in Freehold, New Jersey between Monday, July 13, 2026, and Friday, July 31, 2026, on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
4. Only registered participants are eligible to receive a medal upon completing the 250 miles.

Medal:

Participants who complete the challenge will receive a commemorative medal honoring America’s 250th anniversary and Monmouth County’s role in the fight for independence.

Challenge finishers will pick up their medals in person at the Office of the Monmouth County Clerk, located at 33 Mechanic Street in Freehold, NJ from Monday, July 13, 2026, to Friday, July 31, 2026. The office is open Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM.

Submitting Virtual Results:

Method 1: Submit from RunSignUp Race Results Page

• Navigate to the race's RunSignUp race page > and select the Result tab > then select Submit Virtual Results.
• Next search for your registration either by first and last name or by email address and DOB. 
• Once you have found your registration select Submit Virtual Results > Enter in your miles > then select Submit Results

Method 2: Submit Virtual Results from Your RunSignUp Profile

• Navigate to your RunSignup profile by selecting the Profile Icon at the top right-hand corner.
• Under your Upcoming Events > Select Submit Virtual Results > Enter in your Time > select Submit Time.
• To ensure that all messages are sent at an appropriate time of day for you, you will also be asked for your timezone.
