Run with Me - MetaSpeed Ray

Quick test run MetaSpeed Ray (demo pair). The 39.5mm stack height shoe with a 5mm drop has full FF Leap and a teardrop plate. There’s a kind of drop in insole to cover the plate, and that is also made of FF Leap, ASICS entry in the aliphatic TPU battleground. The shoe is aggressive and explosive. It’s soft but not mushy. I’ll have more thoughts once I get back to Crystal Lake and get my own pair at home. The shoe is super light. . Further testing: I did test a proto a few months back, so I have taken this shoe out for VO2Max work, but there have been some tweaks so may need to repeat that test, as well as get some marathon miles and threshold miles in. .
