Amy Hunt won the women's 100m at the 2026 European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, running 11.00 to claim her first senior international title in front of a home crowd. It was her first gold at any senior international championship after a string of silvers: Tokyo Worlds silver in the 200m last September, Commonwealth silver in the 100m in Glasgow two weeks ago.
