This video demonstrates an easy experiment of how posture affects our breathing. This of course can have an impact on athletic performance, but to take it further, studies have demonstrated that sitting with good posture for as little as a few minutes can have an impact on our energy and focus.
Hunching and jutting your head forward can also influence a lot of different movement patterns along with where tension or stress is distributed throughout your body.
