A post-race conversation with Karla Borland and Joe Turner, female and male winners of the 2025 Hundred Hills 50k, hosted by Centurion Running.
Both Karla and Joe come from a road ultra background; both have competed at the Anglo-Celtic Plate road 100k champs, and Joe represented Great Britain at the 100k World Champs in 2024. It was great then to find out more about the differences between road and trail ultras as they see it, and find out more about their goals for 2025.

Episode 13 - unlucky for some, but very lucky for Feet First, as in this episode I'm bringing you a conversation with the awesome Elsey Davis, fresh off the back of her course record-setting victory at the Arc of Attrition 50-miler.
Elsey's won some of the bigger events out there, so it was great to hear her thoughts on the Arc and the trajectory of UK trail running more generally.

I caught up with Jack Chamberlain, who finished 4th at the 2025 Arc of Attrition 50-miler.
Any other year except 2023, Jack's time of 7:43 would have been more than enough to win the race. But with the Arc being a UTMB event for the first time this year, it attracted a higher calibre of athlete than ever before.
