Marc Scott is the European record holder in the indoor 5000 meters (12:57), the British record holder for the road 5 km and has a World Indoor Championships Bronze medal. Marc also holds a Half Marathon personal best of 60:39. In 2023 Marc is turning his focus towards racing on the roads. Marc made the decision to leave his training group in the US (Bowerman Track Club) to start this next phase of his career back in the UK. Marc is still with his sponsors but is mostly selfcoaching through this transitionary period. At the time of recording Marc had just competed in the trials to represent Great Britain at the European Cross Country Championships in Turin on December 11th. Marc finished 3rd and qualified for the team but had to drop out a few days before due to unfortunate and unforseen circumstances.
