Eliud Kipchoge is a renowned Kenyan long-distance runner, primarily competing in marathon events. He is considered one of the greatest marathon runners of all time, holding the world record for the marathon with a time of 2:01:39, set at the 2018 Berlin Marathon. Kipchoge also gained global attention by completing a marathon distance in under two hours during the INEOS 1:59 Challenge in 2019, though it was not an official world record due to controlled conditions. He has won numerous major marathons, including the London and Berlin Marathons, and is a two-time Olympic gold medalist in the marathon (2016, 2020).
Molly Seidel is an American long-distance runner who gained international recognition for winning the bronze medal in the marathon at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. She is known for her tenacity and resilience, making her one of the prominent figures in American distance running.
Mo Farah is a highly celebrated British long-distance runner, known for his achievements in the 5000 meters and 10,000 meters events. He has won multiple Olympic gold medals and World Championships, establishing himself as one of the greatest distance runners in history. Born in Somalia, he moved to the UK as a child and has become a national icon for his athletic prowess and charitable work.
